Artist Spotlight on Miami Tattoo/Visual Aleksandra Stojanoska

  1. Who are you as an artist? I am a visual and a tattoo artist. With my creations I always try to motivate everyone to become the best version of themselves.
  2. What is makes your art worth it? To the world? To your fans? My subject/theme in most of my works is positive and almost everyone can relate to the story. Spreading positive vibrations with the most vibrant colors!
  3. What makes you different from all the artists out there? Come on brag a bit..I’m always evolving, my style is always changing, depends on the phase I am in in my life. The representation of the elements is always aesthetically pleasing and brings light to the eyes of the viewer.
  4. How did you get into your art? I was always struggling with finding the medium that is going to allow me to fully express myself like I want to. I love painting with watercolors, medium so unpredictable. It’s difficult to control, affected by gravity, always talks back at you.
  5. What is the notorious thing you can say about your art that you never knew before getting into the industry? I have nothing scandalous to say about my art, or the art industry in general.
  6.  What’s your Poison?I get inspired by emotion shown trough the human body. I love yoga, ballet, pole dancing, gymnastics. In all of them you can see and feel so much without saying a word.
  7. How is your Art... “your religion”? My way of seeing Art as my religion is this: Everyone believe in higher power, no matter if it’s God or Energy. Searching for the divine, searching for heaven, for nirvana, for eternity. Trough the Art, you can always find beauty, and a soul who is capable of seeing beauty can find everything it’s looking for within itself.
  8. What are you truly creating with your art that changes the world, changes society? Not changing the world as a whole, rather questioning the true values in everyone’s life in order to change, improve their world.
  9. What is the spiritual message of your art? Definitely spiritual, as I mentioned, I want to spread positivity and brings colorfulness and happiness trough the expression of my emotion on the canvas, the paper, the skin.
  10. Have you been “lucky” or “gifted” in the arts so far? Tell us more: I don’t believe in luck. I believe in karma. I believe that if you give a lot, you gain a lot. So, if you are genuinely happy and successful, it means you did put a lot of goodness, love, humbleness and hard work out there. The universe is testing us every day, and the end result depends on our decisions.
  11. What do you regret the most in your art? For me, every mistake is a lesson. You just have to be smart enough to learn from it, and not repeat it again.
  12. Where do you see your career going in five years? I see myself traveling a lot, learning a lot about our world, seeing things I never knew they existed, participating to a lot of Art events, and having my own gallery/ tattoo lounge.
  13. Who is the perfect artist you would love to perform with? Among all other artist that I follow and admire, Lora Zombie, an artist from Russia is my biggest inspiration. Her work is vibrant and colorful, representing strong and important message trough seemingly simple and naïve themes. My way of painting is very similar to hers and I believe she wants to share the same message as me, the message about finding happiness inside every single one of us..
  14. Legacy: At the end of the day, how do you want your fans to remember you and your art? This is the most difficult question in my life. Maybe because I have a lot of answers about this, but none of them seems right and clear enough to write it down. I’m just going to say that all I want is to bring positive change to every person trough my tattoos and art. I love what I do, because it makes everybody happy, and it’s just a little thing that has big impact on the soul.
